Carpinteria State Beach Camping / Surf Fishing Trip


Greetings fellow club members!  The Golden State Flycasters will be hosting a camping trip at Carpinteria State Beach from November 16th-19th (Thursday to Sunday).  The club has reserved a 25-person group campsite that will serve as our home base for a fun weekend of fly fishing the surf along the Central California Coast.  As an added bonus, we are very fortunate to have the one-and-only Lee Baermann joining us as our instructor on Saturday the 18th from 10AM-3PM to introduce us to the fantastic surf fly fishing opportunities in the region.   Lee is a recognizable figure in the world of surf fly fishing and has written a number of books and articles on surf fly fishing over the years.  

The cost of the trip will be $40 per person for the weekend.  Participation in the Lee Baermann seminar is optional and requires an additional charge of $50 for each person attending.  You can register directly through the Golden State Flycasters at Campout And Fishing Trip At Carpinteria State Beach - 11/16/2017.  Don't miss out, with only 25 spots available this event will fill up fast so be sure and register before it's too late.
