Golden State Flycasters are monitoring water quality on the San Luis Rey River, one of our activities promoting steelhead restoration in Southern California. We welcome newcomers. We meet at 8:30 AM in Bonsall. Brief instruction is given concerning the instruments we use and the samples we collect, and we have a short briefing on safety before setting out for the river. We expect to finish by 11:30 AM and adjourn for pizza and coke.
Participants typically enjoy increased understanding of the environment and of the instrumentation used to evaluate it. Join us, build your skills, expand your knowledge, and share a good time.
