What: 19th Annual Breakers, Beans and Breakfast (BBB)

 

When: Saturday August 24, 2024, approximately 6:00 - 10:30 AM

 

Where: South Torrey Pines State Beach. Parking on PCH fills up early, so you are advised to arrive before 7am at the latest! If those spaces are full, there is paid parking inside the entrance to the state park.


PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE SO WE CAN PLAN BREAKFAST!


The BBB is GSF's "end of summer" club event for the members and their

significant others and friends with fishing, socializing and breakfast on

the sand.  The “beans” in BBB are corbina (core-bean-ahh), the elusive surf

ghosts.

   

A very approximate schedule: 

6:00 to 8:30 am Surf fly fishing and socializing

8:30 - 9:30 am  Breakfast

10:00 - 10:30 am  More fishing and cleanup

 

Come early or late, for 1/2 hour or for the whole shindig.  Come to fish

or just to eat breakfast and talk.  It's informal and free, and all are welcome.
