Please join the Golden State Flycasters for a action-packed fly fishing trip that will take advantage of the numerous fly fishing opportunities in the Bridgeport region of the Sierras. Come learn new technuques such as tight line nymphing or stripping streamers for an opportunity to land a brown trout of your lifetime. Experienced fly fishers from the club will gladly share intel, techniques, and maybe a few secret fishing holes. Anglers will enjoy fishing the East Walker River within minutes of the Walker River Lodge, such as the famous Miracle Mile below Bridgeport Reservoir, or taking advantage the solitude of the several miles of the fly-fishing-only waters of Rosachi Ranch in Nevada that is only 25 minutes away. Other opportunities include the rugged and pristine Green Creek, miles of the West Walker River, easily accesible Robinson Creek,  fishing for sizeable hold-over stocked rainbows on the Little Walker River, and still water fishing Bridgeport Reservoir and Twin Lakes for giant rainbows. Anglers seeking a challenge can hike several miles with a float tube into Kirman Lake, to catch sizeable brook trout. Club members will meet up for dinner every evening to enjoy dinner and a few adult drinks at local eateries such as Rhinos Bar and Grill and the Bridgeport Inn.
