Your cost for this course will be $30.00/person (payable at the time of registration via the web site). All proceeds support GSF club activities and programs.
We will not be supplying materials for this class. We will provide a pattern list with recipes/needed materials prior to the first class. We will be tying two flies each night. We will cover a range of materials, techniques, and fly styles. Flies we will tie in this class, and recipes will be sent to you prior to the first class. We will tie trout-oriented flies; however, the techniques you learn will translate well to all fly types. We plan to tie two each of nymphs, emergers, dries, and streamers.
Time permitting, I will take a request at the end of each class to tie a pattern you want to learn, are having trouble with, or requires a technique you are interested in.
The class will be taught by Mark Utter. Questions on the class can be directed to Mark at: markdutter@outlook.com or 858-539-9415.
