2022 INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED tying class. TUESDAY Nights – February 1, 8, 15, 22.

(Classes will be held via Zoom only.  $30 total for all 4 classes)

This class will move along at a somewhat accelerated rate. Therefore, all tyers considering this class should have some familiarity with general tying skills (whip finishing/half hitching, pinch wrap, use of dubbing, etc.), and have their own vise, tools, and materials.

Class is not limited. Registration will open 1/12/2022
.  To register: Log into the Golden State Flycaster's website and click on the Event Calendar.  Find the first class on February 1st and click on it.  This will take you to the "register now" button.  Prior to classes starting we will email you a Zoom link.  Please do not share the Zoom link.

Your cost for this course will be $30.00/person (payable at the time of registration via the web site).

We will not be supplying materials for this class.  We will provide a pattern list with recipes/needed materials prior to the first class.

We will be tying 2 flies each night. We will cover a range of materials, techniques, and fly styles. Flies we will tie in this class and recipes will be sent to you prior to the first class.

Time permitting, I will take a request at the end of each class to tie a pattern you want to learn, are having trouble with, or requires a technique you are interested in.

Note that I will be encouraging you to do "homework", as it will immediately improve your tying skills.
