The Southwest Council 2026 Trout Rodeo
Event Details:
• When: Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Where: Bishop, California. Meet at Tri-County Fairgrounds in the morning, then head off to your fa-
vorite fishing spots. After the tournament, join us for dinner, raffles, and awards starting at 6 p.m. at
the Fairgrounds.
• Cost: $30 per individual or $25 per team, regardless of team size.
• How: We will use iAngler app to score your catches—make sure you have a phone that can take pho-
tos and run the app. iAngler has been used successfully in past tournaments and allows participants
to track their performance in real-time. All fish must be released unharmed.
• Scoring: Fish are scored by the inch (measured to the nearest ¼”). There are categories for largest,
smallest, and total fish caught, with a bonus for any fish over 14 inches. Teams will be scored based
on the total inches of their catches, divided by the number of team members.
