2022 Saltwater Fly tying class. TUESDAY Nights – March 8,15,22,29
                            ($30 total for all 4 classes)

Registration will open 3/2/2022 at 7 PM.

This class will move along at a somewhat accelerated rate. Therefore, all tyers considering this class should have some familiarity with general tying skills whip finishing/half hitching, pinch wrap, use of dubbing, etc.), and have their own vise, tools, and materials.

Class is limited to the first 8 people who sign up via the website.   

To register: Log into the Golden State Flycaster's website and click on the Event Calendar.  Find the first class on February 8th and click on it.  This will take you to the "register now" button.

Your cost for this course will be $30.00/person (payable at the time of registration via the website).

We will not be supplying materials for this class. We will provide a pattern list with recipes/needed materials prior to the first class. 

We will be tying 2 flies each night. We will cover a range of materials, techniques, and fly styles. Flies we will tie in this class and recipes will be sent to you prior to the first class.

Time permitting, I will take a request at the end of each class to tie a pattern you want to learn, are having trouble with, or requires a technique you are interested in. 

Note that I will be encouraging you to do "homework", as it will immediately improve your tying skills.

Class Information

This is not a beginner class.  Skills expected are:

* Start thread on the hook
* Whip finish
* Have tied flies previously
* Have basic tools, vise, whip finisher, scissors, bobbin, dubbing spinner, hair stacker
