Intermediate fly casting clinic, first and third Sundays of the month.
The meeting will be at Tony‘s Jacal, in Solana Beach. Social hour 5:45-6:30pm, then all are encouraged to get to their seats so food can be served and we can start the presentations on time. Club announcements 6:45-7pm, presentation 7-8:00pm

Carp fishing and camp out at Lake Henshaw: Friday May 31st to Sunday the 2nd. The Lake Henshaw Resort has a rustic campground on the hill above the store and restaurant where Golden State Flycasters will reserve several campsites (2 vehicles per site). Additional sites are $20 a day. Also, cabins are available but should be reserved in advance (http://www.lakehenshawresort.com/ )Fishing will commence when the store opens at 7am where fishing permits are $7.50. A Califonia fishing license is also required. Dinner will be provided by GSF on Saturday the 3rd, otherwise attendees will need to bring their own food and drinks. Register for the event to receive more information about camping, gear, flies and carp fishing tactics. Contact Dylan Moore if you have any questions about the event.

The BBB is GSF‘s "end of summer" club event for the members and their
significant others and friends with fishing, socializing and breakfast. The “beans” in BBB are corbina (core-bean-ahh), the elusive surf ghosts.
A very approximate schedule:
6:00 to 8:30 am Surf fly fishing and socializing
8:30 - 9:30 am Breakfast
9:30 - 10:30 am More fishing and cleanup
